Kamilas4am is a Japan-based company with the mission of “enabling small business owners to find success in their passion by helping them make content for their social media”. Our journey started in 2018 when the founder, Mimi, started her own small business and experienced the struggle of marketing in social media. A year after learning social media marketing, her small business was featured in several news outlets such as Inquirer and Forbes. But despite the difficulties in running a small business, Mimi found herself waking up excited to start her day because she’s doing something she loves. We want to make that possible for other small business owners. Are you interested in helping us achieve this dream?

In order to achieve our mission in Kamilas4am, we make sure that each and every person in our team is in sync with our culture. These are our guidelines as we go through our journey: love failure, outdo yesterday, and put the team first before profit.

 

No matter how big Kamilas4am gets, we will make sure that we will keep the culture of our company. We won’t see failure as the end of the world, we will make sure that we work harder than we did yesterday and our priority is taking care of our team before profit.
 

About the role

As Project Manager, you will lead team members by assigning specific tasks to each member. You are responsible for for keeping the schedule and making sure that the team members assigned in the project are doing their tasks. Your primary responsibility is to make sure that all the moving parts are working properly. You are expected to get progress updates and reports from the team members. You will also expected to lead a team and continue finding ways to improve the processes and systems. 

 

What we're looking for:

• A project manager with the capacity to lead team members.
• Ability to organize and create a smooth flowing system.
• Expert organizational skills in terms of file sorting.
• Can render at least 20 hours per week.

 

What you’ll do:

• Go through 3 months of paid internship (paid trial where we check if you and Kamilas4am fit together)
• Daily report of project updates via our communication channel.
• Weekly progress report of the project to your supervisor.
• Maintain a highly engaged, happy, and productive team.

 

We'd love it if you have:

• Experience as a small business owner
• Prior experience working as a project manager or even an assistant
